Unhappy Backlight issue fix on knoppix installed on flash disk

    Hi!
I've installed Knoppix on the flash disk, it was intended to be used on my Acer laptop. I have the common problem related with backlight being constantly dark... Booting without some drivers fix the problem, but it's not what I want to get. Booting with external screen lets me change brightness in terminal with setpci command, but that's also not a good deal.

Does anybody here know, how to permanently fix this? I know it was possible eg. on Ubuntu installed on hard drive. But I couldn't figure out how to fix this on flash drive.

I'll be thankful for any help, cheers!
