Can't authenticate with LDAP, keep getting the error 49 (invalid credentials)
Hi,
I am dispirited at this time, really, I tried to solve this for days and days and days, the whole day but I am out of options. I can't solve it and I have to solve it. Hopefully, someone can help me here!
So what I am trying to achieve, is to autenticate Joomla users with Kerberos, via LDAP. I used this manual:
rjsystems.nl/en/2100-d6-kerberos-openldap-provider.php (can't provide it as a link because this is my first post)
And I can authenticate fine with kerberos but if I use LDAP (still authenticating with Kerberos but via LDAP), it keeps saying in /var/log/syslog:
slapd[2825]: conn=1017 fd=20 ACCEPT from IP=10.0.2.113:56508 (IP=0.0.0.0:389)
slapd[2825]: conn=1017 op=0 BIND dn="cn=admin,dc=[domain],dc=local" method=128
slapd[2825]: conn=1017 op=0 BIND dn="cn=admin,dc=[domain],dc=local" mech=SIMPLE ssf=0
slapd[2825]: conn=1017 op=0 RESULT tag=97 err=0 text=
slapd[2825]: conn=1017 op=1 SRCH base="ou=people,dc=[domain],dc=local" scope=2 deref=0 filter="(uid=[username])"
slapd[2825]: conn=1017 op=1 SEARCH RESULT tag=101 err=0 nentries=1 text=
slapd[2825]: conn=1017 op=2 BIND anonymous mech=implicit ssf=0
slapd[2825]: conn=1017 op=2 BIND dn="uid=[username],ou=people,dc=[domain],dc=local" method=128
slapd[2825]: conn=1017 op=2 RESULT tag=97 err=49 text=
conn=1017 op=3 UNBIND
conn=1017 fd=20 closed
So everything looks fine except at the end the error 49 which means wrong credentials. And I am sure they are not.
I Googled every page that is related with above error but without any luck.
Hopefully someone can help me out, thanks a lot!!
