IMX 35 crashes while boolting linux 2.6.31

I am trying to boot my board with imx35 with linux 2.6.31. I could find that during booting the kernel gets crashed from init/main.c/start_kernel()->rest_init() function.

I have done some analysis in rest_init() function and found that kernel crash occurs when it tries to schedule the process kthreadd invoked from the rest_init() function.

The crash log is given below –
