Hi All,

I've been involved with computers and I.T. since 1982 (first system was a Sinclair ZX81). Employed in the field as an network engineer and support technician since 1985. Got heavily involved with networking back in 88 and lived for networks and connectivity challenges pretty much until a change of employer (amalgamation = a dirty word), microsoft "paving the planet" and having kids convinced me that i needed to get a hobby (get outside, was spending too much time behind a desk) and turned to my go kart and small engines. Through it all though, Linux has been a favorite topic of interest and i look forward to using the forum and connecting with other Linux users to expand our knowledge and enjoyment of the O/S.
