    Hello

I use Slackware Linux on a desktop box with an AMD Athlon dual core processor, 4gigs of ram, and an 80gig Sata drive. It runs well with the setup I have for it. I use CWM to get a huge performance boost, and use it mainly for document editing and database organization.

I have been using Slackware since 2003. I have left it on several occasions to check out Ubuntu and absolute, as well as fedora, but I usually returned to slack. Crunchbang was nice, but didn't have the flexibility that I have come to expect.

I am by no means an expert in linux, but I know it well for what I need it. My purpose in joining this forum is mostly for fellowship and to talk tech with others. I don't currently have many problematic with my box, which is good. I am currently reading the python essential reference guide. Looks pretty good.

    Thanks for having me.
