"What's New"
The "What's New" link is a bit frustrating since it takes me to the activity stream thing. Could it please be changed back to the new posts page? Thanks.

too commercial
Yeah! This place is beginning to get a little too commercial for me! What you say is jut one evidence of it, lucasbyte!

yeah, I'm not a fan of vbulletin's new activity stream either. I usually use the 'portal' link above to see the last X posts.. but I modified the link for "What's new" to behave like it did before the activity stream came about.
Pane- a little too commercial? How is the "whats new" changing becoming more commercial?

I think I am a bit slow on the uptake with this thing. What exactly is the difference between "New posts", "What's new" and "Activity stream"?

It's difficult for me not to equate unnecessary redundancies (as Victor Leigh refers to) and the concommitant omnipresence of social media links like g+ and fb with the "dummying down" phenomenon excess commercialization takes for granted as essential for its purposes involving the hoi polloi. What's next -- pop-up ads like those seen in LF.org? I get peeved at such and react in ways perhaps misunderstood because I see connections where others may not. Would that LF.com not become like LF.org (I use both but prefer this) and hence lose its freshness -- that's all! Keep up the good work, Rob.

The What's New tab takes you to new content, which is either the new posts or the activity stream. Every other forum I've been on has had the What's New link set to the new posts page, which is why I thought it should be changed.
Thanks for fixing it, Rob!
