Siduction-lxde is running well on my old dinosaur, even after adding some Gnome games, abiword, GIMP and Xiphos; also, this is the first time I have seen Midori browser meet my needs -- I just added varnish to it!

The new kernel tolerates this old CPU, too.

Verdict: I am pleased with this Sid after four days testing.

At once such releases have started popping out and even though I am also not aware of it. Obviously this one needs to be checked thoroughly.

Tentatively, the new linux kernel makes for very quick application speeds on the D410 -- nice! This is one advantage of siduction -- it's cutting edge. Machine seems to be even speedier with 3.4-0. Thanks, Linus!

I'm very happy to see a "siduction" thread. I'm active in their Forum, log their IRC channels, contribute when and where I can, and I'm their official Mirror Master.
One of the great things about siduction, besides the friendly community and our always having the most recent stable kernel available, is that, we also have community and experimental repos, so, we don't always have to wait for applications to be available in Sid before they're available in siduction.

I just downloaded the razor-qt variant that some have been working on, and, hope to install it tonight. There's always something cutting edge going on at siduction.
