    I love when I have to work in the command line to get things done Thank you very much for the article, it worked for me too! Now I have my sweet tunes I couldn't find anywhere, just youtube!

    When you're a sysadmin you have to rely on the CLI. I've loved the CLI ever since I started using Linux, but there are times where a GUI is a better choice as well.

    This is incredibly helpful, thank you very much. I am constantly converting YouTube video's to MP3s for listening to speeches, songs, music, etc. I will soon get a Linux, and this is a great topic that you are willing to share!

    Craziness. I just deal with Youtube downloader and it has the option to convert to MP3 on there. I appreciate the effort though.

    When I get home I'll be trying this. If you're really lazy like me you could just use something like Clipconverter.cc though...

    I just use online conversion. Much easier, no hassle. BUt of course, it doesn't hurt to know these infos. Might come in handy some time. Thanks!

    Oh I agree, I used to use those all the time, but a majority of them was either non-functional for me or made me pay to use the website (or do a bunch of ad clicking). So, I just wrote this one night as sort of a "haha!" to them. This is no different than what they do anyways, so either way it works.
