I am sorry. Maybe I got the distro wrong, but when I rebooted the linux machine I saw this at the top:
CentOS realease 4.3 (final)
kernel 2.6.9-78.0.13.EL on an i686

so....that didnt work. it says: command not found. I typed in exactly what you typed. I just thought this would help me out on the problems I am currently having with our website on the linux server...

The iso that the last I.T. guy used to install and get this system up and running is labeled:
ubuntu-12.04-server-amd64.iso
