Move all Printer Jobs from on Queue to Another

I having problem to write shell script for the users.
Sometimes printer queue contains 1000 jobs. I need to be able give users menu, where they can enter existing printer queue and a new printer name.
After they update /etc/hosts file and set the same alias for the new printer as the old one, re-route all entire queue to the new printer.
Please advise
