So how much really?

I spend between 4-8 hours, but it really depends on how much work I have to do and so on.

4-8 hours? Then you are a very light user. I usually play WoW longer than that everyday. 4-8 hours would be about the amount of time I spend making money online.

Way to many! Can that be an answer?

Wow man, that sounds too much. You should really cut back on it.

4-8 hours on me too :P It depends on the day and work I have... I really like going out too so that's why I don't spend more time with it, although I'd have things to do... :)

I spend almost 10 hours a day. this is what I do most of the time. I wake up, eat and then on my computer for some time and then go to the gym, play badminton. and go home again and once again infront of the computer. :D

I will normally spend around 3-4 hours, sometimes longer if it's a holiday or the weekend, as I would have more time to do different things, it just comes down to the workload that I need to complete.

I sit around 5-6 hours, but i never sit all the time.. i usually go out for a drink and leave my PC on and then get back to watch some Shows and work with my server and photoshop.

It's best not to sit for long, you'll have issues with your back as you grow up.

It would be easier to count the hours a day that I am NOT on my PC. I spend almost all of my waking hours connected to a digital device of one type or another. When I am not on my PC, I am on my smartphone, and when I am not using it, I am watching television through my Mythbox. All in all, I probably spend 16-20 hours a day connected in one way or another.

I spend a really long time on the computer daily, maybe about 5-6 hours, but it also depends. If I'm busy with work, then it may be a lot less, but usually around 5-6 hours is in the complete norm.

On days where I do not see anyone, I spend practically my whole day on it. I do not know how else to entertain myself haha. I have been on for like 12 hours today. What can I say? There is a lot on the world wide web to keep me entertained :). And I am addicted to facebook.

A day at work takes me up to ~8 hours easily, then a bit more when I get home. :) I try to live healthy during the weekends, but I still need it for writing and gaming.

I'm spending a lot of time at computer, because i'm building up websites and coding programs for living. I quit my day job 3 months ago, because i got bored of it and now i'm earning my living from internet which has succeeded.

Spending time at computer 7 - 12 hours / day.

I spend about 5-6hrs a day on my computer because my work is in it. I also have a little online marketing going on and I love to research online. So I use my computer a lot.

I used to be on for several hours when i was 15-16, i spent a lot of time online just like you cause there's endless possibilities of things we can find online and it keeps you occupied.

But then i got into my University and i barely get a couple of hours to spend online these days. You'll probably get busier as time passes by.

I'd say at least 12 hours a day. I use my computer for work and also to watch tv when I'm at home. Plus when I'm not on my computer I'm on my iPhone anyway. Jeez, this kinda makes me take a step back and realize how reliant I am on all my stuff!

I would say that on an average day, I spend 8 hours minimum on the computer. This is merely a guess and this amount of time can change drastically depending on what needs to be done. I attend college online, therefore attending class, reading books, research, and so on, require me to be on the computer. When that is done, I love checking out forums, online game news, social networking, YouTube. The list could go on if I do say so myself. It seems that just about everything can easily be done on the computer in this day and age. Just what has the Internet and computers done to us all?! :p

I'm sure there's a lot that you can do online these days and it's growing scope has made people lazier by the day, but i'm sure you're making full and efficient use of it as you have to attend your college online and view your courses as you scroll through your browser.

I'd be happy to do the same, but then i'd not get another chance to enjoy my University Life :P

I spend way too much time on my computer... I probably spend about 5-6 hours a day doing computing science projects or assignments (or more depending on how much I have to do), and another I'd say 4-5 hours playing games with friends.

It all depends on the day, for me really. Today for instance, I have spent only 2 or so hours on the computer. However, I will probably be on for the next 4 or so hours before I finally go to bed. It's my daily routine to get on later in the night. That's when I do my best work!

Too many! I am at work 9 hours a day, solidly on the computer. I then go home and go onto the computer. I feel like I need to unplug! I often try and take the time to go outside, and walk, but I find myself so board if I am not online!

pretty much almost 80 percent of my waking time. That would include my work time and my personal time. It has become a habit and a part of my daily routine to just sit and use the computer, sometimes just clicking on anything I could find on my desktop for no apparent reason lol

I pretty much spend all day on the computer when between the time I wake up and the time I go to sleep. Sometimes I may do some working gigs online, sometimes playing games, most of the time on forums lol. Even when I come home from my outside the home job, I still get on the computer.

My computer is rarely turned off. for the past 10 years, my pc has always been on, maybe in 2 weeks its off for about 5-10 hours and that's it. I play MMO's so I need to have it on when vending, farming or power leveling even when I am at work.

That sounds like what I sometimes do when I have finished my online work and have already done my levelling in WoW. I would google at random. Sometimes I do come across some gems on such walkabouts.

I waste a lot of time on my computer. Pretty much all day when we have no school or homework. The bad thing is that none of the stuff I do is actually useful. I usually just play games, surf/browse, reddit, etc.

I have a day job 6 days a week but during that time zI surf the web with my Android. At night and on my day off I am either out with friends or alone learning about computer stuff.

I guestimate around 4 to 8 hours a day or more.

I generally spend about 4-6 hours a day on the computer doing various things. But overall I really can't complain technology is getting more advanced everyday and I am a very technological person I'm hooked on the new gadgets and toys that come out everyday and I tend to spend more and more time playing with them.

Being 6 hours on pc will get you nowhere. You are just gonna loose your eyes like I did, and now I gotta wear glasses every day :S....

Since I am looking at a computer all day at work, I will generally spend about 6 hours at work on the computer. When I get home, I'm usually working on my website trying to build more traffic so I spend about 3 hours doing that. I never have a problem with headaches or anything like that since I have good sitting posture and exercise daily.

I think it will depend on how far you are away from the computer you are looking at and many other factors.

8-10 a day can be bad, but their hasn't been any study linking to serious injury or anything like that.

At home, I use the computer for my web business, probably 2 more hours.

I try to eat, sleep and exercise in the remaining hours of the day.
